In Corpus Christie, we witness the evacuations of the town and the arrival of the powerful hurricane.
Days later in Houston, the constant rain floods part of the city, we took part in some of the people rescues that were stranded in different neighborhoods around the city.

In September of 2017, a devastating earthquake hit Mexico City, killing hundreds of residents.
We arrived at the capital hours after the earthquake and immediately began to transmit live for Telemundo Stations around the country.
This composite is a series of solidarity stories among the citizens of Mexico City, the rescue of survivors, and access to one of the busiest hospitals were survivors were transported for medical attention.
This VJ composite shows the coverage of the 2013 tornado seasoning in Texas and Oklahoma, including the powerful EF5 that devasted More, Oklahoma.
It also includes live coverage of the fertilizer plant explosion that leveled parts of West, Texas and a special report on drug addiction among teens.

This reel showcases some of the stories I have covered around the world as a Special News Correspondent.
I have covered many other world and local events as Photographer-Editor, including the fall of the Berlin wall, an Eastern Europe tour on the last days of Communism in 1988-1989 through Poland, Rumania, and Czechoslovakia.
On May 20th, 2013, one of the most devastating tornados in history struck Moore, Oklahoma. A team from Telemundo 39 in Dallas traveled immediately and made it just in time to broadcast live that night. The team provided live coverage for the station group and the different news programs of the Telemundo Network for the following days.

In 2013 there was a crisis at the border with thousands of families from Central America coming to the United States.
I traveled to the area to document the situation. I did stories on various angles of the struggling for the immigrating families, the border patrol, and the community of McAllen, Texas.

Telemundo 39 sent two VJ’s (Erik Mora & Fernando Mejia) to cover the super bowl 51 in Houston, Texas.
While other stations have dozens of technicians, producers, and reporters, between the two of us, we provide daily content for our different shows.
